Our Mission Statement
Simply Nursing, LLC will meet every parent where they are at. We will not judge, discriminate, or push our personal views and beliefs onto anyone. We will focus on the parent and child and help guide them to reach their own personal goals. We will help navigate challenges, correct any issues, overcome barriers, offer support, and counsel you through your journey.
This business was born from my own start as a mother. I was struggling to nurse my newborn, and realized help was not as easy to come by as I thought it should be. I searched for my resources, became confused by the advice and suggestions, and struggled to justify following my instincts because they didn’t fit the unrealistic parameters society set. I was frustrated, I was tired, I fought to succeed and stand by overcoming our challenges as one of my proudest accomplishments to date. I want to pay it forward. I want to help. So I started Simply Nursing, LLC and hope to help you, too.

As a new mom, I knew nothing about how to breastfeed a baby. One day before I had my oldest, I said to my mom “If a puppy can figure out how to nurse, I’m sure my baby can.” Boy oh boy… was I wrong. My baby and I had no clue what we were up against. After discovering a severe tongue tie, going through two revisions, pumping around the clock, finger feeding, mastitis, clogs, supplementing with formula, battling low supply and then oversupply… I realized how ill prepared I was for learning how to feed my baby. I realized that had I not found the support I did I would not have made it through those issues. I realized that I had to look for that support. It was not made readily available to me by any of the healthcare professionals involved with mine and my baby’s care. I wanted to learn. I wanted to help other parents. I want to make a difference.
After spending two years training for La Leche League Leadership, and two more years certified as a La Leche League Leader, I decided to pursue becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to further extend my reach and help more families. This is my passion. This is my calling. I would be honored to join the village you surround yourself with to be the best parent you can be- whatever that may look like to you.
